I contacted Maytag to order a new washer to pair with an older model Maytag dryer (stackable). I was informed that they would not complete the installation, it had to be two new appliances. I was told previously that stacking kit W10869845 could be used. null

Hello Dan, we do not recommend stacking appliances that are not paired or that do not have the same Stacking Kit number. We hope this information helps.
