Does this a water filter you have to empty? null

Not a water filter, but it does have two water tanks that need to be emptied. We bought three units, one of them leaks and needs to be emptied every thirty minutes! These are terrible machines.

I think you mean a water tank, and yes it has 2 areas from which to drain it from when it becomes full. However this is "supposed" to be for the dehumidifying function. It is supposed to automatically vent the water it does collect out of the exhaust vent. My unit didn't do this very well but maybe you will have better luck.

It has a drain. You'll need to buy a hose and either run it out an opening to the outside or to a bucket. I'm using a bucket and on humid days draining twice daily. I'm in the NE, so it can get very humid.
