- Answer The RPD-451DW model uses R-410Arefrigerant where as the RPD-311DW model uses R134A refrigerant.

QuestionDoes this come with pump? I always forget to empty the water. Integrated pump will be great!

QuestionI'm looking for a unit that draws air from the back and has dry air discharges on "BOTH SIDES". Does this unit fit this description? Is this unit draw air in from the front and how is the dry air discharged ? My old unit: Gold Star DH40.....

- Answer It discharges air out of one side only, appears to draw air from the back as the front is solid.

QuestionWhy are the specs for this unit the same as those for the Elite D Series 30 pint unit except for the moisture removal calpacity? In other words what causes this unit to remove 50% more moisture than the 30 pint unit when the specs are the same?

Questioncan you hook up a garden hose to this dehumidifier to drain it?

- Answer A garden hose can be used but we recommend using plumbers tape or teflan tape to prevent the connection from being stripped by the metal on the hose .
