Q: QuestionI plan on purchasing a wired 4 camera home security system not from Best Buy. Can I hire Geek Squad to come install the system/4 cameras at location on house at my choosing? How much will it cost? I know pricing changes all the time.

• A:Answer They couldn’t install the wired Ring Security Lights I requested. So I would say no. To try and be fair and if you do order the service, be sure you ask lots of questions when you order to be sure they can do the installation so you don’t have to deal with the runaround later.

Q: QuestionI have a camera that does need to be plugged into a power source with an option of cat5 plug as well. if the power source plug needs to be longer wil the installer have that available. also my entire house is pre-wired cat5

• A:Answer I doubt it as that comes from the manufacturer of the camera. He's more likely to have a cat5 cable on hand (which would probably never happen) but the power comes from the camera manufacturer.
