• A:Answer Depending on the camera system you purchase, you may not be able to split the cameras between two different physical locations. For example. The Arlo Pro Wire Free 4 Pack requires the Netgear Arlo bridge to be connected to your internet service. All cameras connect to the bridge it comes with. You can't just take two of those cameras to another location without also having a Netgear Arlo Bridge. If you get a 4 pack of cameras that connect directly to your wireless network without the need for a bridge, you can split them. As far as the installation is concerned. One installation service covers installation at one physical location, even if it's for the same person.

Q: QuestionIn the state of Texas a company needs to be licensed to install surveillance cameras. I checked with the Geek squad earlier this year and was informed that they could not install the Ring floodlight cameras in Texas.

• A:Answer Specific to the Ring Floodlight, you do need an Electrician to install (due to high voltage). Geek Squad does have the ability (licenses) to install wireless and wired cameras in all 50 states.

Q: QuestionBestBuy uses other company to install the camaras. Guy got lazy, he suggested to installed them in garage (?) I returned the wire camaras. Second time (solar/wireless) too high and in the water canal. Terrible job, now I got charge!!!

On top of that they will suggest anything that would make installation better for me. Best Buy Geek has previously installed for us 2 TV’s, computer, printer, receiver and cameras.
