I wouldn't recommend using these while driving a vehicle, it's very dangerous to wear headphones while driving and it's illegal in most places! I would recommend getting a bluetooth headset instead that only goes in one ear. They're perfect for truck drivers!

I drive an Acura RSX Type S with a big muffler exhaust and typically my passengers say my car is loud (55-65% tractor trailor loudness I'd figure) and these worked well for my hearing and for those to hear me.

Yes they have excellant sound quality.

You'd hear them but the microphone picks up everything with no noise canceling they won't hear everything clearly and you'll get frustrated. I use mine for listening only. I use a plantronics voyager legend for phone calls and it works GREAT!
