Yes, LittleDee, I would say so. The platform measures 13 inches by 13 inches and is only one inch high. Each of the four “feet” is positioned at the corner so the scale is virtually “untippable..” This scale is solid and reliable (i.e., if I weigh myself three times in a row I get the same reading), and I like it a lot. You can even send the information directly to their health care provider if your apps are compatible. If you do not have the manual you can check on line to be sure at Withings.com the HealthMate app is also very helpful.
