when I first purchased my fit bit I ran into the same problem. It took some time but without it being on my wrist, I continued to work on snapping it in. It takes some pressure to do but I did get used to it and now it is no longer a problem. They are just tight at first. Hope this helps you.

The band is new, so it IS a little hard at first. But after a few times, mine snapped on easily. I have no problem now. It has to be broken in like new shoes.
