Honestly if the xbox is only for minecraft you would be fine just getting an xbox one.

Thank you for asking! Minecraft is compatible with both Xbox One S and Xbox Series S. Though the game is available as part of Xbox Game Pass, you may also purchase the game without subscribing to Xbox Game Pass.
