Xbox Series S is an all-digital console and is not compatible with physical game discs. An external hard drive with your Xbox One games may be connected to Xbox Series S, but they will not play if the games were installed from disc. If you have a library of Xbox games on disc that you would like to play on your next gen Xbox, we recommend getting Xbox Series X.
