A:AnswerThanks for checking! Yes, you may connect an external hard drive used with your Xbox One to Xbox Series X. Please note that games enhanced for Xbox Series X/S must be installed on the system's internal SSD to be played.
A:AnswerUnfortunately, in-stock alerts are not available for this item. Inventory is constantly updated on BestBuy.com throughout the holiday season, especially when it comes to the holiday’s most popular items. Make sure to check back early, and often, in case of a restock.
A:AnswerIf you download twitter and follow Wario64, he will send an alert when it is available. I was able to get 2 that way! Turn on notifications for his profile.
A:AnswerThanks for your interest in Xbox Series X. Due to overwhelming demand, it may not currently be in stock but we're working hard to make more available. New stock appears regularly so we recommend checking back for updates.
A:AnswerFor questions about Best Buy policies, we recommend reaching out to Best Buy Support directly: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/electronics/customer-service/pcmcat87800050001.c?id=pcmcat87800050001
A:AnswerThe best advice I can give you, as a successful next-gen buyer is:
1. If you haven't, follow some people that provide restock alerts on twitter. Like Wario64, Matt Swider... They won't SELL you the console, but they will give you a heads up on when and where you can buy one.
2. One of the official resellers of the console will give you the best chances. It is the one with a $15 Pro membership required to get early access to the drops - which deters scalpers, bots, etc. And they do bundles as well as standalone editions too, to make it hard to turn profits reselling the console. Can't be more specific due to guidelines, but those 2 guys on twitter will lead you to your console. I did buy a Series X on Best Buy but that one literally fell on my lap, I wasn't ready for the drop, I was shopping online, I saw the listing and I went for it. The twitter guys, especially Matt, did eventually lead me to my PS5 through his alerts and live stream with tips on how to get the order in.
A:AnswerThey don’t make the drop times widely known so as to prevent bots from being able to quickly snatch them up. However, employees of Best Buy occasionally leak the drop info.
I’ve also heard of some stores having stock for sale in-person. This happens if someone doesn’t pick up the order that they placed online or if they returned it. It doesn’t hurt to check with you local store on occasion just in case!
A:AnswerThanks for asking! Almost all Xbox One games are playable on Xbox Series X, and hundreds of Xbox 360 and original Xbox games are backward compatible with it. For a full list of backward compatible games, please go here: https://www.xbox.com/games/backward-compatibility
A:AnswerI found out a day ad approximate time restocks would happen. They only released a few every couple of minutes so computer hackers weren’t getting them all. I got mine within 10 minutes of the first being available on site.
A:AnswerThanks for asking! If your original Xbox or Xbox 360 game on disc is backward compatible, you can install it on Xbox Series X directly from the disc.
A:AnswerYour best bet, if you’re on Twitter, follow @Mattswider for any and all restock updates on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X. He helped me get both consoles and maybe he can help you too. Right now with covid-19 supply is low due to various conditions making it harder to meet demand. Scalpers are also a huge factor and as much as I dislike them, not much can be done until things get better to meet demands for the consoles. Best of luck getting one of your own!
A:AnswerThanks for asking! Yes, Xbox Series X has a built-in 4K UHD Blu-ray player that is capable of playing standard DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4K UHD Blu-rays.
A:AnswerYes, game saves and other information saved to the cloud on your Xbox Live account will automatically transfer over to your new Xbox Series X. You can also connect an external hard drive to Xbox Series X and play any games that have not been enhanced for Xbox Series X/S directly from it. Please note that games enhanced for Xbox Series X/S must be installed and played from the console's internal SSD.
A:AnswerXbox Series X measures 15.1cm x 15.1cm x 30.1cm. When set on its side, it would be 15.1cm tall. For ventilation purposes, we recommend placing Xbox Series X in well-ventilated spot with at least 2 inches of clearance around it and with its vents unobstructed.
A:AnswerBecuae you can't build a PC as graphically powerful as the Xbox series X for the price. That's why consoles or so valued. It's a way for many causal gamers or those with less means to enjoy great games from developers. Also the UI keeps it simple for those who just want to just turn on there system and play games. And though I don't believe a Steam account is hard to operate many casual gamers or those who have been on consoles they're whole life may find it difficult.
