A:AnswerMost big stores are only allowing online ordering and picking it up at the store to help slow the bots down from buying them all. Also Best Buy has implemented a system that will help defeat the bots in purchasing them all in one go. When I ordered mine, I had to add to cart and wait for about 10-15 mins after I clicked add to cart. One added to the cart, I had to resign in and get through the rest of the security steps they have in place. Best Buy is doing a great job in slowing down these bots. If you get lucky and find yourself at that stage of when they’re released and having to wait before it’s added to your cart then be sure that you have all of your shipping and billing info setup on your account along with your debit/credit card on file so it will make things quicker and easier when checking out since they sell out within the first minute.

A:AnswerMicrosoft isn't going to answer this question. You will have to email Microsoft's Xbox division. It's also not that big of a deal, no game right now is taking full advantage of the Series X's power, same for the PS5. It'd be better to hold off til Summer/Winter 2021 when devs have more time with the dev kits.

BestBuy has added an extra step in the checkout where they have to e-mail you a verification code so that you can complete the transaction. I have found that to be a very helpful deterrent to bots. It took me roughly 6-8 weeks before I was able to get all the consoles my family wanted. The further away from December 2020 the better the odds have been.
