Q: Questionwant to pre-order xbox series x console

• A:Answer Hi Nancy, Unfortunately, the first wave of pre-orders is over, however, Microsoft has announced they will have additional consoles for purchase on launch day (November 10th). My suggestion would is to sign up for additional retailers availability wait list as these retailers may be allotted additional stock prior to launch day. Additional Retailers: Best Buy Game Stop Walmart Amazon Target

Q: QuestionWhat are you going to do to fix this issue? I was able to purchase it but there was an issue with payment was told I had 24 hours to fix it but y’all cancel the order after 4 hours.

• A:Answer Unfortunately that was a ploy to cover the likely fact that they oversold pre -orders. I read in many places that retailers did not receive their allocations for XSX consoles from microsft until after pre orders sold out so Best Buy had to cancel a bunch of them to free up stock to have in-store on launch day. I called them because the same exact thing, payment issue....cancelled within hours...., happened to me. When I called they blamed Microsoft and said nothing could be done. Here’s an idea Best Buy......stagger your pre orders or do them in waves. Honor every pre order that successfully completed on your site and stagger shipment dates. At least we would know that we would get one without having to go in-store.

• A:Answer You can use either option. No, you won't be double charge for anything. If you were to place and order you'd be charged only once when the item is processed, and shipped for day one delivery.

• A:Answer Yes, your existing Xbox Live account and any associated services (such as Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold) will transfer to Xbox Series X when you log in. Any digital games or movies purchased through it will also be available.

Q: Questionso I'v been on the page refreshing and refreshing and it says (coming soon) and I have been waiting so I can pre order and then there was a time where I had it in my cart and when I put checkout it said error with the system so when I can I preorder Xbox?

Q: QuestionYa'll don't "need" more than one console! This is like the toilet paper fiasco. Limit one per customer! Get it together, someone somewhere gotta have some smarts with this computer stuff. You don't got an anti hacker system?

Q: QuestionHow can an item be in my cart and when I go to pay for it, within seconds of it being in my cart, the item is sold out? I can understand if it was an hour later but seriously if your system can't hold an item while I move to the next page...

• A:Answer Because the system was selling them out quicker than it could keep up with its digital inventory hence why it was cancelled on behalf of Best Buy. They couldn't move forward, and charge and process a unit that's not in their inventory. More units will be in before launch.

• A:Answer According to Microsoft, don't expect anything else until launch day nov 10th. Us regular consumers will have to hope they have enough stock in store on release day after standing in line for hrs at the store to get ours. Pre orders are only for scalper bots apparently.....

Q: QuestionWhy is Bestbuy offering preorders on Xbox Series X knowing that their was not intent to follow through. Horrible and bad business practice. Your web page did not work at all. Why wasn’t the process done like previous models? Makes BESTBUY look bad.

• A:Answer Yeah.... seems like you haven’t been involved in many releases like this. After multiple attempts (40 min) of refreshing and spamming a button you would be able to get it. It happens though, not everyone is patient, but I guess that’s why some people got a preorder (me and literally every one of my friends) and some people didn’t (the one raging in the ask a question section)
