Thanks for your question. If you currently use an external hard drive with your Xbox One, it may be connected to Xbox Series X. Please note that games enhanced for Xbox Series X cannot run from an external hard drive and must be installed on the console's SSD. The internal hard drive from your Xbox One cannot be used with Xbox Series X.
