Q: QuestionI have purchased and installed this lock and it works perfectly, when I get home it unlocks and all. BUT I can’t get it to work when I’m not on the same WiFi network (away from home) has anyone else had this issue? How have you fixed it? Thanks!

• A:Answer You need to go to settings, locate the august app then turn on cellular data. This will let you have access anytime you have Cell service. When you are home the wifi hooks up and works the lock for you without using cell data. Good luck

Q: QuestionCan I set a one time or temporary pin for this lock? Say I cant get home and need a friend to walk my dog or some other situation but I dont want them having permanent access to my residence. Is there a way to set a temporary password?

• A:Answer The lock comes with two keys which I rarely use because of the keyless entry feature. These keys look similar to another Yale key I have so you could probably get the lock rekeyed. Might want to ask a locksmith to be sure.
