The short answer is yes but not with HDMI cables and the audio will be in stereo, not surround sound. This receiver only has RCA audio input jacks so the RCA audio out jacks from your DVD player can be connected to this receiver, however you'll have to connect the RCA video out jack from your DVD player to your RCA video in jack on your TV.
