“since these have 5 speakers, shouldnt a yamaha 5.1 receiver play through all 5 speakers? mine only plays through the right & left front speakers”

• I certainly think it should -- I know that I expect it to do so. (But, unfortunately, I have not yet hooked mine up. Simply too busy right now.)
