will ceiling speakers work as wall mounted? null

I did not try it, however I have read that people try and it does not work. The main reason is that the speaker is too deep to fit into the wall. In the ceiling there is more room for the speaker.

NO! I was told by salesperson that I could use them in wall. After running wires and cutting the round holes I discovered that the wall is a standard 4" thick and these speakers are 4.75". Had to return them and get wall specific ones.
