A:AnswerYou can hook it up one of two ways:
1. If your Sony Bravia has RCA Output Jacks you can use those, you just hookup to one of the inputs.
2. If your Sony Bravia has a 3.5 mm headphone out put you can use that. You will need to purchase a 3.5 mm to RCA splitter. This is how I hooked up my TV.
You should be able to pick these up at Best Buy. I found a 3 ft long one at the big orange home improvement store. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerSimple answer is " yes ", it says so in the manual we received with the unit.
And it calls for 8 ohm speakers but we are running 2 / 5ohm speakers with no problems so far. For ohms detailed explanation, look for an article with Andrew Jones about ohms, creator of some of Pioneer's best speakers.
Standard ohms in speakers is a bit misleading and you'll find some interesting info there.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI used line 2 for my Technics. Found out you have to buy a preamp for turntables now unless they show s dedicated turntable connection in the back. I found one for less than $30 on Amazon. Plugged into the preamp and connected that to line 2. Works great.
A:AnswerOf course you can! Imagine if you will (sorry Mr. Serling) you spent millions building an amplifier and forgot to include inputs from external players. It probably wouldn't sell too well.
A:AnswerYes, as long as your powered speakers have an input labeled LINE IN. Line level audio is different than speaker level audio. This amp has one LINE OUT that can be plugged into anything that has a LINE IN connection. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerThere is about a 90% probability that you can connect it using one of the line in inputs. Bottom line, If your sirius device connects using RCA plugs then yes. If it uses a digital optical line then no.
A:AnswerYes, there is remote.
Yes, A and B speakers can be turned on and off with remote.
Both can be on at the same time.
There is only one volume control for all speakers.
A:AnswerI have owned multiple brands of similar receivers and find the Yamaha to be my favorite. We can adjust volume on phone/Apple Watch, change internet stations on Spotify, heart, and apple music. We cannot change FM/AM stations or turn on off by bluetooth. I have had no issue with bluetooth range up to 40 ft around my pool. I have it connected to Bose outdoor speakers 251 and 151. They sound great!
A:AnswerThis receiver has an A and B output for up to four speakers as well as RCA outputs for a subwoofer as well. The receiver will let you choose between speakers A and B or both.
A:AnswerYes, you can run 8 ohm speakers with this receiver. In fact, 8 ohm or higher is the recommended speaker impedence for this particular Yahama model.
