Yes, You can hook up the RCA cable from turntable to any receiver input NOT labelled PHONO, (CD would work) as long switch PHONO EQ to ON in the back, this amplifies the signal to line level. If you have an input on your receiver labeled PHONO, then you would select PHONO EQ to THRU, and that would use your receiver's phono pre-amp. You can compare the quality between the one build into the turntable vs. the one in your receiver. If you are wrong on the switch, the sound will either be way too soft, or really loud and distorted, quickly switch that Phono EQ to the other selection.
