I also have this question. What Yubikey do I use if I need it to work both on a PC that has USB-A ports and a smartphone that has a USB-C port and marginal NFC functionality? Can I use a USB-C to USB-A adapter with Yubikey?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no idea, but their website - yubico.com/start - should be able to help you. Also, the Geek Squad is great! Haven't had a question on anything digital they could not answer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use NFC (Near field communication) or you can by the USB-C instead that will fit into your smart phone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The one I bought is strictly a USB connect. I suppose you could use it if your phone has a USB connection then you might be ok. The thing is it’s looking for a device that’s USB connected to your computer not your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.depends on smart phone not cross use available if phone and computer have different ports.. but yes you can use a key w/ a smartphone.. i believe not 100% sure.. should say that first check elsewhere for specific.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YubiKeys are designed to work with devices that support USB-C, so they should be compatible with your Motorola phone, provided it has a USB-C port. Compatibility may ultimately depend on the specific model of your device and the type of USB connector it uses. To add some clarity, YubiKeys are available in various connector types, including USB-A, USB-C, and Lightning. For your Motorola, we recommend the YubiKey 5C NFC, which supports USB-C and also offers NFC functionality. If you plan to use NFC, please ensure that your phone has NFC capability.
