If you have a yellow transparent plastic square then you do have it. It's just stuck to that part before you install it.

If so that may be the reason there was no protector. If not, it was probably just a manufacturer error therefore you should email Zagg about your misfortune.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's a thin flexible film between two protective plastic sheets. It's easy to think there's not a protector there if you are expecting a stiff tempered glass protector. If it's truly not there then return it to the placenl of purchase.

I found that reading the instructions helped in the application process. If the protector is missing, try returning the product in complete form to Best Buy, I have never had a problem returning a product to Best Buy.
