“Is it better to have Best Buy install this? I read many negative reviews from guys who only post bad reviews because of the corners not staying down. I spoke with a manager at best buy and he said the reason they charge to install them is because Zagg sends a representative to each store to train the employees on the proper way to install these which then you will get a Lifetime warranty from Zagg so I assume there's a certain method that differs from installing them on a flat surface such as a phone. Has anybody had any negative feedback after Best Buy installed this for them?”

I installed mine on my own and had no trouble. I just followed the instructions in the pack and it went on with ease.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I always allow Best Buy install them for me. If there is anything wrong with it they have to fix it prior to you leaving. Meaning there is no additional charge. Once you leave the store you register your product and the Zagg will send you a new one. (You do have to send the old one back if there would be a problem.) if you do it yourself you are left with either the register with Zagg and wait or buy another and try again. With all of the Apple products I've had done, I've only had one issue. However my Best Buy took care of it and didn't make me send it back to Zagg as it was 2 days after. That's the only problem I've had. Love my Best Buy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't paid to get it put on, but I'm having the same issues and did the install word for word. In my opinion it's a waste of money. I filed a warranty claim with zagg, waiting on my new one then going to return it. I bought a case that looks like a G-Shock watch and has rubber edges so there's so way for my to scratch the glass unless I hit a corner exactly in the center. Other wise for $18 you can have a band that looks cool and protects the watch.
