• The two year battery life refers to how long you can use the keyboard without having to recharge. If your keyboard is running on a low battery, use the supplied charger to power it up!

• 2 years battery life means (according to Zagg) the keyboard will operate on the charge of the battery for 2 years NOT that the battery will only last 2 years. The battery is rechargeable, ergo you only need to recharge your keyboard every 2 years.

• The keyboard case is charged by a micro USB cable, which is included in the box. It does not take a battery that I know of.
