Hold down the fn key and the down arrow on the keyboard. I was freaking out too when I couldn’t get it to work. Also, if you hold th fn key and tap the right arrow, it cycles through colors. Have fun and cheers!

Please try again later.To light up your zag rugged keyboard, there are 2 separate models, you hold the fn button on the bottom line to the left of the space bar and press the light bulb button at the same time which is to the right of the space bar. The newer model has 9 different colors. I love this new light color function, they are deep beautiful colors!
