Yes this device is appropriate for 10 year-old children. However, I do not feel it would provide “hours” of fun. What’s provided in the box is very limited, and the children would get bored quickly. You would have to purchase additional equipment and software in order to use this product to it’s fullest potential. Maybe at that point, the children would have “hours” of fun. lol
