My ceiling height is 90". Dimension diagram shows minimum hood height to be 31" for recirculating option. I need 24" if I want to mount it 30" above cooking surface. Is this chimney cover able to be cut down 7" professionally and still function properly? null

Hello,

You can, however, you would only be able to cut it down by about 3 inches as the PC board is mounted on top of the motor box and there is no other location to mount the PC board.  Thank you for your inquiry! - Zephyr
