    We replaced a Whirlpool microwave and the exhaust was not working as good as it should. This model range hood was a little difficult to install but after completion we tested the unit speed setting from 1 thru 4 and is was amazing how strong this unit worked.

    We opened the box to install the hood on November 20th and noticed that the front of the hood was uneven. It appears that the stainless steel fabrication was poorly done. The product is poorly manufactured and is not as quiet as rated. Consider adding sound insulation around the internal operating motor as the cover is acting as a bull horn.

    Great strong hood. Just be aware it requires a 6 inch duct! Otherwise it won’t suck in air.

  • Do not recommend and forget the low-noise specs

    My kitchen contractor thought the unit was a bit flimsy, and getting the exact height and placement was not simple. But the real downside came when I turned it - it was far noisier than the spec sheet indicates it should be. My call to tech support was brushed off, they suggested I email for more support, and my email went unanswered. Save yourself money, there are cheaper alternatives. While I like the low footprint, I purchased this based on the spec sound numbers, which the company won't stand behind.
