Hello, The Sorrento is at 500 CFM, this may be on the fence with the 5-burner electric cooktop. It might struggle with all 5 burners going. If only a couple of burners are used at a time, I’m sure it’ll be alright in my opinion. The Lift Downdraft or Treviso may be a better option at 600 CFM. The Lift Downdraft also has the option for 1000 CFM if the type of cooking involves a lot of smoke, and oil and spices. Thank you for your inquiry! -Zephyr
