• A:Answer Hello, The Sorrento is at 500 CFM, this may be on the fence with the 5-burner electric cooktop. It might struggle with all 5 burners going. If only a couple of burners are used at a time, I’m sure it’ll be alright in my opinion. The Lift Downdraft or Treviso may be a better option at 600 CFM. The Lift Downdraft also has the option for 1000 CFM if the type of cooking involves a lot of smoke, and oil and spices. Thank you for your inquiry! -Zephyr

Q: QuestionI want to use this unit with a slide in gas oven/cook top I can vent it out the back and down through the crawlspace then outside. Also straight down through the floor and then out. Is this possible? Installation instructions? Thank you

Q: QuestionThe depth is 7inches. Is that the full depth or will the duct increase this depth? Are their options to connect the duct in the back, bottom, sides, and front?

• A:Answer Hello, The 7" depth of the rising portion would be the full dimension, the ducting would not affect that portion of the hood. The hood can be configured for bottom, left and right side ducting. Q: QuestionWhen the vent is completely down is it flush with the countertop or does it stick up a minimum of 7" at all times?

• A:Answer Hello, thank you for your inquiry! When the downdraft is closed, only the top panel will be seen on top of the counter. It does not stick up a minimum of 7" at all times, it can be lowered to level out with the counter. Additional information and visuals can be found in the spec sheet.
