- Automatic Heat Sensor: When chimney is up and blower is on or off: if the exhaust temperature becomes higher than expected, the Heat Sentry model will activate and increase the blower speed to high. Lowering the chimney will turn blower off - even if Heat Sentry is active.
- Powerful 500 CFM Blower: The range hood performance is measured in Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM). This is a measure of how much air can be removed from a given space in a single minute.

A: Hello, The Sorrento is at 500 CFM, this may be on the fence with the 5-burner electric cooktop. It might struggle with all 5 burners going. If only a couple of burners are used at a time, I’m sure it’ll be alright in my opinion. The Lift Downdraft or Treviso may be a better option at 600 CFM. The Lift Downdraft also has the option for 1000 CFM if the type of cooking involves a lot of smoke, and oil and spices. Thank you for your inquiry! -Zephyr
