Hello Charlie! Thank you for your inquiry. This model range hood will require a minimum ceiling height of 7.30 ft with a maximum of 9.30 ft. There is a short kit available for purchase (SK-GL1i/GL2i/KE2i/KL3i) if the ceiling are 7 ft. If this does not answer your question, please reach out to us again and we will be happy to assist you.
