• A:Answer Hi Jack, Thanks for reaching out! The KE2i-42 has a maximum of 400 CFM and requires 6" round ductwork. The (2) chimney pieces that come with this unit are 19" tall each, and can telescope to your desired height. Q: QuestionUnit appears to be intended to mount about 3 feet below the ceiling. Is it easy to install the unit 18 inches below the ceiling or are there built in brackets that will be a problem?

• A:Answer Hello Charlie! Thank you for your inquiry. This model range hood will require a minimum ceiling height of 7.30 ft with a maximum of 9.30 ft. There is a short kit available for purchase (SK-GL1i/GL2i/KE2i/KL3i) if the ceiling are 7 ft. If this does not answer your question, please reach out to us again and we will be happy to assist you.
