Q: Is it compatible with Samsung Galaxy Note 8?
A: yes. My mother in law still has a galaxy s5 or s6 and it works on it. I had the note 8 and had no issues charging on there
A: No. It inputs 120v AC (mains power), and outputs 120v AC (max 10A) via one (normal, mains) receptacle, and via 2 USB-A receptacles (running at 5v DC) a combined max of 2.4A. HTH!
A: I guess you would need a USB to USB cord to try this. This charger uses a USB port to charge

A: No, it's not waterproof. The only weather resistant power banks I know of just have protective covers over the ports. The ports still cannot be wet on those units.
Q: can this charger be used for a digital camera
A: It's not a charger, it's an adapter
Q: How many watts? Looking to charge a laptop
A: 5 x's 2.4 = 12 watts / 2 ports = 6 watts per outlet. Times probably about a 65% efficiency factor = about 3.9 watts per outlet if the manufacturer isn't telling any fibs. Retired EE. Yes chargers are rated in watts.
