Rediculous value!

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I've switched to this from a Logitech G502 Lightspeed. I went in to get a G703 Lightspeed to use with my laptop and play more competitively not knowing the Basilisk X Hyperspeed existed. With the extended holiday return policy I decided to give the Basilisk X a chance thinking I might run into something that would make me wish I had the G703 instead. It never happened. After dialing in my DPI preferences(need to install or use Razer Synapse), working with the Basilisk X has been just that good. I can't tell if there are any major differences between the optical sensor of this and the G502 but the Basilisk X is significantly lighter. If you are looking for a wireless mouse to use for FPS/TPS gaming and don't want to spend +$100, then the Basilisk X is an excellent choice. If you use any other Razer peripherals and already have Synapse installed, I would strongly recommend giving this mouse a shot.

Fantastic wireless mouse

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I purchased this mouse to replace my Razer Mamba that I bought in 2012 (that worked beautifully for 8 years!). I am personally a big fan of wireless peripheral, especially when there is no notifable drawback in performance. This was an easy purchase for me and would highly recommend this to a friend.

Q: QuestionCan the side buttons be programmed for copy and paste?
Asked by Lance.
- A:Answer Razer Synapse software allows you to map the button to keyboard keys and combo keys so yes you can do it. If you set each button for a combo key. But you have to be running synapse in the background for it to apply. I disabled the software at startup and none of my button mapping changes were in effect until i launched it. Just something to be aware of.

Q: QuestionCan you use it with Xbox 1 and PS4
Asked by Aiden.
- A:Answer Short Answer: Yes, but with limited game support. Both the Xbox One and Playstation 4 support mouse and keyboard. Microsoft announced direct support with Razer mice and keyboards in Sept of 2018 and Sony has long supported USB mice and keyboards, but it is still up to the individual game developers on whether to incorporate m/kb support. Here are links to a list of supported games: Xbox One mouse/keyboard supported games: https://www.windowscentral.com/list-xbox-one-mouse-and-keyboard-games Playstation 4 games with mouse/keyboard support: https://www.psu.com/news/how-to-use-a-keyboard-and-mouse-on-ps4-and-which-games-are-compatible/
