    Black ink is crisp and works well with my printer. Doesn't smudge. However, I would recommend buying the 61XL - more prints for the money.

    Most inks are generally expensive and yhis ine is not. It also doesn't dry out like most if you don't get to it right away.

    HP printers using lower cost inks are a life saver. My old printer used $75.00 + in ink cartridges. HP cartridges are a great value !

    This is the only ink I use for my printer. If your only using it for personal use and do not use it seldom it will last. Not recommended for everyday school or business use.

    Love my HP printer and always use HP ink. This is good ink and less expensive then the "XL", so when I've got a short term, immediate mindset, I buy it. Like I said, good, but XL truly does print many more pages!
