Works
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cartridge works OK. But there's not really much of a choice when it comes to cartridges that can be used with the HP printers.

Pricey for a 61XL
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its really is costly to purchased anything that is Extra Large but then it may takes a little longer to have it replaced

Ink doesn't last long
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The last ink cartridge we had wasn't even empty, it got clogged and we were not able to exchange it. That is disappointing with how expensive this ink is.

shame it doesn't last long enough
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been buying HP ink for years but it seems that the cartridges just don't last as long as they used to and I'm replacing them a lot more often.

Average price for home printer ink.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It costs to much. I could almost buy a new printer for the cost. All the other possible types of ink that I could use with my printer were not stocked at the store, on the shelves.

Does the job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s alright. Not the best quality printing I’ve seen but it gets the job done. I wish ink didn’t cost an arm and a leg either but. It is what it is.

It's ink
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ink is very dark and the last one didn't last me too long. I printed out a 60 page book and ran out of ink. Perhaps it's my printer that is not efficient.

Good for 50 pages
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure if the ink evaporates over time or if HP is just filling these cartridges half-way, but after about 20 pages the ink starts to fade.

XL Not Better
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Normally I found that the HP ink cartridges that claim to the XL do not produce more copies. I think that's just a rip-off. I was also very disappointed when I walked into Best Buy and found it at the ink cartridges were all gone simply because they're not getting their supply from China.? Why are we still ordering things from China instead of making them in America? Not happy.

Posted .Hi,
I am sorry that the cartridge didn't last as long as you thought it should. Most people find that the XL version is a much better value.
Ink usage determines how long a cartridge lasts. If the air is dry it can affect how long the ink lasts.
It might help if you shut the printer down between uses; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying. Also you could consider getting Instant Ink. The subscription plans let you pay by the page. Check out the details at: instantink.com
The seller is responsible for the product they sent to you. If it was low on ink when it arrived, or if a defect is stopping it from printing, contact the seller about that.
According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."

Defective ink cartridge
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually had to return this item. It would not function in my printer. Got "problem with cartridge" messages on my computer. I returned it to store for an exchange, but store only had the "regular" 61 cartridge and no more of the 61XL. The regular cartridge worked fine and I got a refund for the price difference

Posted .Hello there,
I want to apologize for your experience. Although rare, defective cartridges diminish the client's experience. I am glad you received an exchange and a refund.
On the off chance, you have this scenario again, here is some advice. I suggest you try to turn the printer off. Take out and reinsert the cartridge. Turn the printer back on and see if the cartridge works.
If that does not work, try cleaning the copper contacts on the printhead. I would also suggest checking the ink levels in your printer.
I hope you give us another opportunity to serve you and that HP can exceed your expectations in the future.

HP High Yield Cartidge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had issues with the head of the cartridge not dispensing ink even when the cartridge was full. This was a replacement and appears to be working okay.

Great deal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great deal but the ink doesn't last very long. Best Buy has the best price in town. Sign up for the rewards program and receive 15% off ink and toner.

It seems to be an acceptable product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It installs like the regular cartridge so it is easy to use. I can't tell if it really lasts longer though to determine if it is worth the extra money or not.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product. Works as advertised. Would be a 5 except is overpriced (as are all these cartridges).

Just Okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product works effectively, but even the cartridges that claim to be 2.5X as much ink begin to run low after only a few uses.
