Well I’m here to tell you that they ARE NOT! Pony up the Money and buy some good quality hdmi cords! I’ve got chocolate hdmi cords for my TVs. I chose this one because of the size was perfect for my PS4 to monitor. The length was perfect. Feels like a well made cord for all my gaming needs!

At first glance you can tell this cable is of better quality. It's more flexible and has better tolerance on the plugs than the cheaper cables I've purchased. I've only had it for about 1 month but I believe this cable won't need to be replaced for many years.

I'm so impressed with it that I may purchase a second one at a future time.
