When first installed it worked perfect, now after a few weeks,it quit. Door opens and closes,but will not play.

Money well spent and has more function then the Sony. Wifi was a big key to buying this one.

Perfect size for travel in an RV. Played it while at home quality looks great.

Was looking for an inexpensive BR/DVD player for an old TV. Terrible device. Only 6 apps. Netflix only decent one. Plus it locks up every so often and you need to unplug/replug it back in. Also puts a banner across your screen saying to test your connection; and it won't go away until to stop everything and log back in to your router. Would question any electronics made by LG.

Easy to set up and use. Used it with a TV that is not smart capable so am able to watch Netflix etc through the DVD Player.

The player works and functions so far with no issues. Only thing I over looked and had I realized I would not have purchased was there is no display screen to monitor how much time has gone by or left on the movie. This is my only regret with purchasing.

Picked this model mostly based on the low price. While it works for the most part, it has some rather annoying issues, and I would not buy it again knowing what I know now. Issues: 1) It can play videos from our local media server, which is nice, but every time you play a video a message pops up saying something like "Playing over WiFi may result in reduced quality. Continue?" That's OK the first time, but there seems to be now way to eliminate the message and no way to use anything other than WiFi. Since you are forced to use WiFi, it's annoying to get the same warning message (with nothing you can do about it) every time. 2) Every once in a while (while playing a network video, but sometimes even when playing a DVD) a message pops up saying that the internet connection has failed. Sometimes you can click through the message, but sometimes the only way to get rid of the message is to power cycle. I don't think there is any problem with our network because no other devices have trouble, and it comes back just fine after power cycling. 3) I thought I could work around those first two problems by running a wired network connection. But there is no jack for a wired connection. 4) There seems to be a compatablity issue with our TV. It works fine when first powered up, but when you turn off the TV and player and come back a few hours later, the screen is black. We tried every combination of settings and buttons we could think of, but nothing resolves the black screen except power cycling. We are "sort of" able to workaround the problem by turning off "quick start" mode. That tells the player to do a full shutdown when powering off and a full boot when powering on. That works, but we have to wait longer to be able to use the player whenever it's turned on. It may be somehow related to HDMI compatabiility with our older TV, but we've never had any problems connecting other devices to that TV.

super easy to hook up and begin streaming with our home wi fi.

With electronic juggling it works well.Its the existing TV internet and keeping the signal from interfering with each other.It works well. Note I am not interested in a gift card.

Never knew the importance of having a blu-ray player but I was like "Hey, I need a DVD player so I might as well get an LG has built in WiFi"

Had the best price I could find. Light weight, can take it with me when I travel.

I bought this Blu-ray Player for my daughter because of the streaming services included. She does not have a smart tv so this was the perfect solution. Now she can view Netflix and other streaming apps.

Blu ray player does its job for playing discs and live streaming. No issues with it. No frills, but good value for the price.

This was connected to our LG TV and it works seamlessly. If you have an LG this is the one to get.
