I needed a remote for an inherited Samsung DVD player and am delighted I selected the RCA universal remote. I quickly found the correct DVR code to make this work and ALL the DVR features are easily controlled. This is a terrific product for the money.

It worked but at some point I had to reset the settings on the remote to get it working again

It may be a great remote, but it is so hard to program that I have tried to program it for 2 different devices (Smart TV and DVD player) with no luck. I can almost get it to work, but it has never fully completed the process. Also, the code list is not attached to the packaging or instructions and has gotten lost. I cannot find the code list online either, so now I am left with auto-search or manually trying EVERY possible code.

This remote worked great at first, but then some of the buttons would get stuck.

Great remote I can pair it to almost any tv I currently own

I had an old Magnavox DVD-player that needed a remote and this RCA did the job. It can handle up to 3 devices so you are covered for a basic TV system. It says it even connects to streaming boxes but I have not tried that yet.

Missing a couple of the fancy functions of the original but a heck of a lot better than not being able to turn on.

Lost original remote during our move and needed one to do basic tv viewing. Perfect!

The RCA 3 universal remote control was exactly what I needed since I was unable to find the directTV remote.

Works great for the price. Never could get it to work for anything but the TV.

Remote okay for the $$. Sold as "streaming" compatible but came with no codes to set up streaming players. Backlight not bright enough to see keys in the dark.

Good universal remote for the price. I had an older TV that the remote stopped working and I couldn't justify the purchase of a smart remote. This one performs well.

Not a bad remote. Easy to use but I wish it was more customizable.

This wouldn't be my 1st choice for a U-remote, but for the price it does the job. It gives me most of the functionality I need, but it still usually winds up not fully utilizing all the buttons on the remote. I found some functions that work, just not on the button it should for some reason, which isn't very intuitive. It also looks kinda trashy imo. All that said, it's cheap and it does the job, so if that's what's important to you then this remote might work for you.

I was going to buy a new DVD player because I lost my remote in the move. The best buy buy suggested this one. Was way cheaper than buying a new DVD player.

The volume down button on my previous remote was going out and after trying a "bargain" from Walmart that was defective right out of the package, I ordered this one. It came the next day and I'm super pleased. Thanks!

It's big, but it works with My LG TV. My dog chewed up my OEM remote so this is a fine replacement.

We have trouble using it for our LG tv. But we bought for our Sony DVD player and it works great!

This was a great purchase for the low price it is listed for. My Vizio remote gave out and I was able to sync this one with no problem. The backlit keys are a plus.
