    Best buy would not replace the Samsung remote. They recommended an RCA $12 remote do not buy this remote. Take your $12 and put it torward the exact remote that comes with your tv, you'll be so much happier. For me now Best Buy will be the last place i purchase anything.

      Hello Sebagoguy - Universal remotes are designed to work with most major brands, including Samsung, but they may not offer every advanced feature found on an original equipment (OEM) remote.

    It kind of works. Some thing get really wonky with Disney+ where we can't easily back out to the menu. And, pressing home goes to the default TV station. I guess we got what we paid for.

      Hi BirIL, if the remote did not work, the first thing to confirm is whether it was programmed to your device. Universal remotes require programming to your TV or device brand before they will operate it. Even though the remote is new and includes batteries, please press the correct device button and program using the included code list or the auto code search method.

    Easy to add to my TCL Roku TV (has a specific code in the code sheet), but some of the buttons I expected to work, didn't (particularly the '*' (options) button). The backlight only seems to illuminate the directional circle. I expected the backlight to work across the entire remote. I purchased another remote at the same time and prefer that one. I will be returning this one.
