This is a universal remote, so it must be programmed to your TV/device before it will control anything—sometimes it can seem like it “isn’t working” when it simply hasn’t been set up yet. We recommend installing fresh name-brand alkaline batteries, confirming the polarity (+/–), then following the included programming steps (code entry or auto-search) for your TV brand.

Posted .Hello JamesV - This remote supports all major TV brands, including the vast majority of models on the market today. Programming is required, and sometimes it takes a different code or the automatic search method to find the correct match. Once programmed correctly, it should control your TV without issue.
