    The staff told me this would work with my TV when it fact it didn't the staff should be fired as well

      Hello JamesV - This remote supports all major TV brands, including the vast majority of models on the market today. Programming is required, and sometimes it takes a different code or the automatic search method to find the correct match. Once programmed correctly, it should control your TV without issue.

    If you want a $10 universal remote, I'm not sure why you're reading reviews because that's what you're going to get. It works. Nothing more, nothing less. Kinda works with Smart TV functions but not all buttons do. I ended up buying a stock Vizio remote from Amazon.

    I am not sure how to rate this. It is a very nice remote but I could not get to Amazon prime and other apps with it. Our dog chewed up the original, but I was able to find it online and had to return this one.

      Hello Momof2 - Sorry this was your experience. This is a universal remote, so it must be programmed to your TV/device before it will control anything—sometimes it can seem like it “isn’t working” when it simply hasn’t been set up yet. We recommend installing fresh name-brand alkaline batteries, confirming the polarity (+/–), then following the included programming steps (code entry or auto-search) for your TV brand.

    This was recommended for our TV brand but there were a ton of buttons we couldn't use. It beat buying the $65 remote for our TV but I wouldn't buy it again, next time I'll buy the original.
