    This universal remote was purchased because my dog chewed my tv remote beyond use. Unfortunately, if you have a smart tv, this doesn't do a whole lot of good if you use apps on your tv like Hulu or Netflix. Otherwise it is ok.

    Works as designed. Its design is rugged. Not easy to hold and depress buttons at the same time. Has hard edges. Placenent of buttons is not easy on the fingers reach.

      Hello Mb228c - Please ensure you are following the programming steps exactly as outlined in the manual, as proper procedure is key to successful setup. Our universal remotes are designed to work with a wide variety of brands and models; however, no universal remote can guarantee compatibility with every make and model. The auto code search feature may help find additional codes that are not listed in the manual.
      Keep in mind this remote is compatible with most brands of TVs, DVD and Blu-ray players, streaming devices, and satellite boxes.

    Colored Streaming buttons a plus for transition from Roku remote to a universal remote. Need to press cursor arrows on circular ring with thumbnail to get good contact for cursor action. The few backlit buttons provide little value for night use.

    As advertised, it worked on our Samsung TV right out of the box. Unfortunately, it doesn't have full functionality of a Samsung remote so it's not all that useful.
