    Worked exactly as planned to connect to an older model Sony TV. We also setup to connect to a Bluray/DVD player but had problems getting it to work with an old receiver. The receiver i like 20 yrs old so not surprised it wasn't compatible.

    I thought I needed this for my daughter's TV. It came with instructions that were very simple to follow, so I was able to program it to the TV easily.
