Needed this for a few different projects I'm working on. It has great range and the sound quality is phenomenal. Set-up was a breeze

For a friends birthday I bought this on a recommendation. The built quality is nice, the all black aesthetics also matches her desk accessories. One thing that’s not so great is the tightening screw open the side. If they get too loose, you run the risk of the microphone dropping down and hitting the back piece of metal since it is very top heavy. Do be careful when adjusting angles. Define key recommend two hands. Her mic already has a small scratch on it.

I went through the cheaper snowball options for recording for my YouTube channel, (Bargain Bin Gaming, go check it out!) but they just weren't the quality I wanted. THIS MIC though? Perfect. Love it. It helped get rid of some of the echo I was experiencing with the other mics, letting me sit back a bit more away from it. THAT BEING SAID, I would recommend getting a cheap windscreen for this. All mics are gonna pick up background noise. I got one and now that's been eliminated. I hope this helps!

I use this to talk to buddies on PlayStation and have wired in ear headphones that either plug into my controller or the microphone itself. I have loved no longer using a traditional headset and will not be going back any time soon. If you’re thinking of making this specific switch, do it

I read some of the negative reviews regarding hearing background noise but of course there were positive reviews also. I went ahead and bought it, knowing that I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. In my opinion, this thing works perfectly....now granted, I dont work in a professional recording studio but a professional recording studio would be using a $2000 mic. The sound was excellent! I was using it to record tutorial videos and rubber banded a piece of foam around the mic part and they came out crisp and clear with no exaggerated "P" and "S" sounds coming from my words.

My daughter loves this microphone and uses it frequently with her computer, very easy to use and creates great sound quality for recordings.

From opening the box to installation to use this mic is so easy to manage! Great sound quality and definitely hassle free!!

My daughter has started a video blog, and also creates videos for her consultation company. She has been using an inexpensive mic that has audio quality issues. She asked for a new microphone for Christmas. I read reviews for the Yeti Pro at Best Buy and at Amazon. It gets excellent reviews by people who seem to know what they are talking about. Bought it at a Best Buy store locally rather than at Amazon because I like to hold an item in my hand before purchase, whenever possible. She was ecstatic when she opened the present. It was exactly what she wanted.

I needed a quality mic that could connect to my Apple iMac for voice over videos. I have used professional microphones before but the current project didn't have the budget for professional sound gear. This is a good mic over all. The Gain adds some unnecessary artifacts and the pre-set sound capture settings aren't different enough in their pickup. The mic remains a little too omni-directional for radio work and voice over at a professional level but for anything less the sound is good and can be mixed fairly well using a mixing board or some of the various digital mixing tools on the market. I feel like you pay a little more for the style of the mic then similar quality microphones on the market. I would only recommend this to a friend if it was on sale.

This microphone was recommended by very knowledgeable Best Buy employee! I didn't catch his name but he worked at the Fairfield location. He was a game streamer whom had experience with this several microphones. He understood we were beginners that were not trying to spend too much on our first setup, therefore he never tried to up-sell, just provided honest informative facts. The Yeti usb microphone is absolutely grade A. Easy to use and works wonderfully with my video recording software. Great sound, no popped and is extremely easy to use.

The sound quality is clear and consistent. Much cheaper than building a dedicated sound booth. Easy to use.

I bought this microphone to take an online language study course. I had found that cheaper microphones simply did not always do the job. I wanted to learn the language with the least accent possible. That meant that I needed critical voice input to the software to take advantage of the voice analysis qualities. This microphone produces the absolute best of voice analysis and makes tiny distinctions show up on the voice files. I am very happy with this piece of equipment.

The good quality coming from the mic is amazing. The clarity is great, even picks up the tapping of the keyboard. Even voices from across the room. The only thing I don't like, is that when the mic is plugged in, it shuts off your speakers. Understandable, best way to get clarity, but kind of kills the idea of having a mic for gaming if your using a sound system. For podcasts, it kind of kills the ability to hear how the voice goes without having to record and playback through headsets. And if you're going to use a headset, you might as well push your money towards a stealth series turtle beach
