iPad faster then my iPad 5th gen

I have a 5th generation iPad. That iPad still works/but slower. The new one works well. But not seeing a whole lot of changes.

Video streaming, pics and light internet use. I would get the cover that has a keyboard and removable with support to stream. Amazon had apple pencil 1 for sale works really great! It was all on sale!
