    We purchased this 9th gen iPad for my 14 year old who is really into art with the specific purpose of being able to use the app Procreate with the Apple pencil. The 9th gen supports the first gen apple pencil. We didn't want to spend a ton on the latest and greatest until we were sure this was a medium she would continue to use.

    In general, I like it, but I was not aware that ipad 9 generation uses lightning for connecting to other accessories, instead of c-type. Now I need to search/ buy and try other adapters :(
