Picked this up during July sales for a great price. The website was especially helpful comparing models and specs. Also have the TotalTech membership so getting the Apple Care for free is a nice bonus

The 10.2 inch iPad

I hated to see her struggle with texting on her phone. She hadn't used one and since she got it she hasn't been off it. We got the attached keyboard so, since she is a good typist, it makes it sooo much nicer for her.

Replaced my Kindle Fire 10 with this

Much happier with the stability of the device. As a reader it is (mostly) no different than the Kindle. The buying of content, using the Kindle App, is not as seamless as I would like (have to buy Kindle books through the web browser instead inside of the Kindle App). Minor inconvenience.
