This has the look and navigation like the iPhone, and operates all of it's programs used on her iPhone. She chose it over the Kindle, for those reasons. Apple makes a wireless keyboard for faster typing, but does not make a cover for it (though they do for all other iPads). We'll have to see if there is another maker.
